This is a small, well established private practice with one Physician
Frost Street area

Qualifications:
•    At least 2 year of recent work experience as a Medical Assistant   in a private practice or clinic setting with responsibility for duties as listed below.

Responsibilities:
•    Doctor sees patients in the mornings:      Room patients, take vitals, test blood sugar, do EKG and other tests as ordered by Doctor.
•    Doctor is out of the office in the afternoons:      Answer phone in the afternoons, schedule patient appointments, take messages for Doctor.
•    Process insurance referrals using computer.
•    Other duties as assigned.

The rate of pay is 13.00 — 14.00 hr. to start.  Health benefits, paid holidays, paid vacations.

The office is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant.  Please only apply if you have at least two years of current work experience as a Medical Assistant for a Doctor’s office or clinic.

• Front desk experience with phones, appointments and check in.

 Responsibilities:

•  Room patients, take and record vital signs and history
• Assist Dr. with patient office visit, take notes for Doctor during office visit with patient
• Stocking rooms with supplies
• Assist with front desk, answer phones, schedule appointments, check patients in and out
• Provide information to patients and new patients, train and educate patients regarding treatment plans
• May do occasional blood draws

Small private practice in San Diego, CA seeking an experienced Pediatrician.  

Responsibilities include working with children from birth to college age.  Treat their illnesses and ensure that they are provided with a clean bill of health.   Perform consultations to understand the health of patients or what is ailing them, working with the parents or guardian to develop an appropriate assessment and diagnosis.  Perform research to understand how to best help  patients.  Order lab work, tests, or blood tests to work towards a proper diagnosis.  Act as an advocate for patients if necessary within their particular conditions.  Ensure that proper prescriptions are provided. Record all of the charting that goes with each patient. Hospital rounds as necessary.  Some on call hours weekly. 

Looking for a self motivated professional who enjoys a busy work environment and the opportunity to work independently.   

Must be licensed in California with at least one year of recent work experience in pediatrics. 

This is a permanent position  -  Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm office hours.    Salary based on experience.
